I've updated the ESUG Amsterdam Google Maps view.

It now has enhanced guidance and extended information on public transport. All pop ups for public transport icons have links to departure timetables for trains, metro and buses. Not only during daytime, but also during the night ;-).

New is information about parking. Four parking facilities have been added with details about their relevant public transport connections.

Note the ?dummy in the Google maps link. It is there to fool Google. Google caches the kml/kmz files on their servers. Changes made are not visible until Google rereads the file. But the added dummy convinces Google to request the file from my server right away in stead of getting it from cache.

See you in Amsterdam!

Hi Adrian:

I'm writing here, because I haven't found an email address to write you.

Only to say "Thanks you" by the Smalltalk events pictures, really nice to people as me that can't afford the prices of international trips to go to the conferences.

A little suggestion, would be very interesting if each picture could have a description with the name of people on the picture, were they are or so (but at least, the names).

Well, it's all, thanks again by your excellent work!

Hello German,

Thanks for you comments and suggestion.

There are two problems with tagging. One is that the gallery software that I use as is doesn't support it. The other one is that I prefer not to hurt the privacy of the people on the photo's (even more) since I normally don't ask permission to take and publish the pictures.

Hope you understand my stand on it.

Cheers,
Adriaan.

BTW. There is a link to my email address at the bottom of this page.

Hi Adriaan:

Thanks by your response, and yes, I understand your point, no problem.

I'm waiting eagerly the pics of day Monday, if you have about the Innovation Technology Awards presentations, being that a friend o mine presented my product "ClavesPC".

Again, thanks by your excellent work that permit to a lot of people as me to "see" some of the moments of more important Smalltalk conferences in the world.

Cheers.
